Just because i'm posting about shoes, do not think that I'm not capable of higher thought. I'm just starting with what I know. The evolution of ladie's shoes is a very interesting indicator about the times we live in.
First of all- the plain pump is back in so many finishes and colors I have to think that it never really left the hearts of business women everywhere.
Also, i'd be interested to see what people have to say about the pointy toed styes of today.
I mean really- does this actually make anyone's foot look attractive? The Guess CEOs are laughing hysterically from their beds of money... at you Pointy Shoe Wearers!Well, enough about shoes. I'm thinking about them because there isnt really much else going on here. This 'city' shuts down at 5, and anyway I'm too broke to do anything tonight. I'll just have to get my shoe fix from Sex and the City reruns!

i always thought the pointy toe looked stupid--i first started noticing them in the UK when this really heavy girl with fat ankles was wearing them in a Wetherspoons and the heels were sloping inward because they couldn't support her weight, and i recall thinking "she looks like the wicked witch. poor thing. i mean they're pointy and heely--ow and ow. not a particularly brainy shoe choice. i'm waiting for the "paint sneakers and little black dress" combo to come back in style. Madonna had it going for about an hour in 1985 but unfortunately at that time i was still wearing Keds baby shoes.
Girls, girls, you're both nuts. Poor Veronica wants new shoes. The really cool flip flops aren't doing it for you any more? "Paint sneakers and a little black dress"? That sounds like the style worn by only one individual. Who could that be? Hmmmm...
Oh, Ms. Tomorrow--that which is the property of many ladies is written "ladies'" not "ladie's." Apostraphe abuse is a pet peeve of mine.
